Fulbright Seminars

The American Voices Seminar in Turku provides an opportunity to learn about various aspects of the American society and culture through the experiences of American Fulbright grantees currently in Finland.

The Fall seminar is organized by the University of Turku North American Studies Program and Fulbright Finland Foundation.


Fulbright Forum in Jyväskylä provides an opportunity to hear current American Fulbright scholars and graduate students present on their research in Finland.

Fulbright Forum is organized in the Spring by Fulbright Finland Foundation in cooperation with the University of Jyväskylä.

"Towards a Sustainable Arctic Future," Fulbright Arctic Symposium in Oulu gathered together Arctic scientists, students, policymakers, representatives from NGOs and other key stakeholders, as well as general public. The event was organized as part of the mid-term meeting of the international cohort of Arctic researchers participating in the Fulbright Arctic Initiative (FAI) Program. The Symposium was organized jointly by the Fulbright Center Finland and the Thule Institute, University of Oulu.

Seminars are open to the public and free of charge.
