Alumni

  • 436 active US alumni in the United States (Friends of Fulbright Finland network)
  • Hundreds of active alumni in Finland serving as experts, academic reviewers, Board members, and in various other capacities related to the Fulbright Center and its programs. 120 of them are also members of the ASLA-Fulbright Alumni Association in Finland.

Highlights

  • The first Fulbright Forum seminar ‘Education, Innovation, Science and Art’ was organized at the University of Jyväskylä.
  • The 6th Fulbright Center Study Tour to the United States was organized in March 2014, this time on the theme of “Communications and Community Relations”.
  • The Fulbright Center’s annual North American Studies Roundtable convened for the 10th time.
  • Fulbright Center organized and hosted a two-day training seminar in Helsinki for Fulbright commission staff from the Nordic Countries.
  • Fulbright Speaker Program founded.
