Number of Finns Studying at U.S. Universities Rising

According to Open Doors 2013, the annual report on international academic mobility published by the Institute of International Education (IIE) in partnership with the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State, the number of Finnish students enrolled in U.S. institutions of higher education in 2012/13 was 691, which is eight per cent higher than the year before (640).  Looking at the reverse side of the student mobility picture, Open Doors also reported that 256 American students studied in Finland in the 2011/12 academic year.
