Governmental websites

InfoFinland is a shared service point of the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela) and the Tax Administration for people moving to Finland. The service point is located in Kamppi, Helsinki. Please note that service is also available by email for those not located in the capital region.

VIRKA Info is the public information service for all residents of Helsinki, offering general information and advice on living and working in the Helsinki area as well as special advice and guidance on immigration issues.

I had an amazing colleague that told me every festival and holiday and local attraction outside of Helsinki that could be reached from Helsinki.  We had so much to do. Helsinki, despite winter, was amazingly vibrant. There was so much to do in Helsinki and we really enjoyed it. It was a safe and easy city to acclimate to, and I would highly recommend a stay there to others.
