  • 32 American grantees
  • Cost-share funding included, total of EUR 800,000 given out as grants
  • 3,500 Finnish and 1,500 American grantees since beginning of ASLA program in 1949.

Fulbright Center Funding

  • 69 % from Finland (Trust Fund, private foundations, Finnish universities, Finnish government)
  • 30 % from the United States (24% the U.S. Government, 6% other)
  • 1 % from Canada

Fulbright Grant Award Ceremony and the Closing Event of the ASLA-Fulbright 60 Year Celebrations
The Event honoring the Finnish Fulbright Grantees for 2010-2011 at Säätytalo, House of the Estates, was hosted by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Department for Communications and Culture.
