Program and Events Assistant

Fulbright Finland Foundation sr is seeking a team player to join our energetic and fun staff to work as Program and Events Assistant in a dynamic, international organization. The new team member would assist with grant program administration and promotion, event management, survey and website projects, and office duties.

Position Title: Program and Event Assistant

Preferred starting date: August, 2019 (can be negotiated)

Duration of employment: Permanent, full-time

Location: Hakaniemenranta 6, Helsinki

Salary: To be discussed


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific information supporting each item in order to be considered qualified.

Education: Bachelor’s degree; students enrolled in Bachelor’s degree studies close to graduation are also eligible to apply.

Language: Strong English and Finnish communication skills (both written and spoken) are required.

Skills, Abilities, Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated ability and motivation to show high level of accuracy and orientation to detail in administrative duties
  • Ability to work in teams and independently
  • Experience and knowledge of event coordination and service design preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Interest in international cultural exchanges and academic mobility
  • Experience with using basic MS Office programs.
  • Experience developing social media content is a plus.

Project Assistant Intern

Fulbright Finland Foundation sr is seeking an intern to assist with event management, grant program administration, survey project, and office duties. This is an exciting opportunity to gain work experience in a dynamic international organization with a small, energetic and fun team. 

Position Title: Student Intern

Preferred starting date: August 6, 2019

Duration of the internship: Negotiable.

Location: Hakaniemenranta 6, Helsinki

Salary: Unpaid

Schedule: Three to four days a week preferred. Temporary position.

Insurance: Fulbright Finland Foundation will provide an accident insurance for the duration of the internship. The insurance is valid only during the working hours.
