The Fulbright Finland Centennial Award

The Fulbright Finland Foundation’s Centennial Fund was launched in 2016 to honor the 100th anniversary of Finland's independence in 2017. Meant to last into perpetuity, the Centennial Fund is an endowment created by donations from individuals and institutions who wish to support the Foundation’s mission.

Since its launch in 2016, this dedicated endowment has grown from gifts of every size, ranging from 5 euros to over 50,000 dollars and beyond. The Fund supports Finnish and U.S. scholars, students, and professionals through its annual yields. The first award funded by the returns of this endowment was granted in 2024.
