In response to the global pandemic of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and in consideration of the health and safety of all speakers, audience, and the hosts, the Fulbright Finland Foundation has decided to cancel the Fulbright Forum on March 16-17, 2020.

This decision wasn’t easy, but the extremely rapid changes in the situation within the past few days have made it the only possible alternative. Large gatherings increases the risk of spreading and being exposed to the virus. Also, given the increasing number of infections in Finland and due to a general concern, we think this is the only responsible course of action. The safety and well-being of everyone is naturally our top priority.

We apologize for any inconvenience the cancellation may cause.

If you have questions related to event cancellation, please don’t hesitate to contact Maija Kettunen, [email protected]

Fulbright Forum 2020 will take place at the University of Helsinki on March 16 and at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences on March 17, 2020.

”Fulbright Forum" seminar provides a unique opportunity to hear about the research and projects that the current American Fulbright scholars, teachers, and graduate students are doing in Finland.

The first day focuses on education and the themes of the second day's presentations vary from Marketing to Health and Environmental Sciences.

The seminar is organized jointly by the Fulbright Finland Foundation and the University of Helsinki and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.

The seminars are open to the public and free of charge. Join us for the whole seminar or pop in for the presentation of your choice and meet with the Fulbrighters! Welcome also to drop by the Fulbright Finland stand during the breaks to speak about study, research, and funding opportunities in the U.S.
