Alumni Get-Together at FinnFest USA

July 31-August 3, 2025, Duluth, MN

FinnFest USA is a great opportunity for alumni to relive their Fulbright experiences, exchange ideas, strengthen the Fulbright Finland network in the United States, and connect on all things Finnish.

On Saturday, August 2, there will be a panel discussion with Fulbright Finland alumni discussing their experiences and the impact of Finnish-U.S. exchanges.

Ed and Barbara Sivak have volunteered to serve as the contacts for alumni wishing to connect with each other during FinnFest. If you will be attending FinnFest, feel free to contact Ed and Barbara at: [email protected]. Ed is 2015-17 Core U.S. Fulbright Scholar and FoFF Alumni Council Member. He and Barbara are sponsoring a table at FinnFest’s Tori Nordic Fair. There will also be "visiting hours" staffed by volunteer alumni to answer questions and provide information useful to potential grantees.

This year, FinnFest USA will be held in Duluth, Minnesota, and will feature Leena-Kaisa Mikkola, Finland’s Ambassador to the United States, as the keynote speaker.
