Information about the 2026 American Voices Seminar

The purpose of the seminar is to bring U.S. Fulbrighters and the Fulbright Finland team together about halfway through the fall semester and to provide an opportunity to share American views, ideas, and culture with Finnish audiences.

The 33rd American Voices seminar will be held on Friday and Saturday 9-10 October, 2026, starting Friday lunchtime and finishing on Saturday afternoon. There will also be optional activities taking place on Thursday, October 8, which we hope many of you will make it to.

The seminar is held in Turku (a 2-hour train ride from Helsinki and Tampere), and it is organized by the Fulbright Finland Foundation and the Department of English at the University of Turku.
