Expectations for Grantees
You have received an email from your program coordinator with instructions for studying the materials. Please read through them carefully and remember to bookmark this page for easy access throughout your grantee journey.
To ensure a well-prepared arrival to Finland and a productive experience during your grant term in Finland, we expect all grantees to:
- review all modules and materials independently,
- plan your own schedule to allow sufficient time for preparation, and
- adhere to all deadlines and requirements communicated throughout the process.
Our training uses the Flipped Classroom approach. You can learn more about it in the video below.

* The event is mandatory for those grantees who are on their grant term in Finland during the event and who has the event in their Grant Authorization. Those grantees arriving in Fall 2026 and participating in the Arrival Orientation Seminar in August won't have to participate in the Spring Arrival Orientation Seminar in January.
